CMHWAK

another thread on here got me thinking. if cmhwak was ever anything, it was extremely stale in terms of main page content. one of my initial goals with this domain was to get some fresh/recent content up instead of having "issues" that sit for months. as you can tell, I haven't gotten around to it.I am extremely fond of some of the blogs in this thread and would like to see cmhwak become something similar.

I am not about to recruit someone annoying like ryan/finedaytodie (lol at some people still thinking this is me) but I have since realized that it might be cool if some of you were involved in this because there's no point in having it become stale or having dry spells. and I don't really want to be some totalitarian overlord in charge of all content.

all it would really take is posting short band overviews, reviews, or whatever short content you feel like throwing up. maybe four or five of us working on it in total, trying to make at least a few posts in a month? so each person making a post maybe once a month or so. that's not much of a commitment. I would probably abandon tumblr and have some sort of wordpress style system with multiple usernames to give you full credit for your work. though I'm willing to keep tumblr if people prefer and just share the login info. I'm even willing to let you mirror content if you write for other blogs. I do not benefit from this site or domain in any way. it's just be nice to have some sort of """screamo""" community hub. it could be fun for you. and the site actually gets a decent amount of web traffic so you'd have a bunch of people reading your stuff.

so... is anyone interested in blogging for cmhwak.net? post blogs you've been involved with and whatever related info that would help your case. I'll leave this to sit as a sticky discussion for a few weeks.

me and loveinathens could post our podcasts there if you guys like. though we just talk about some random bullshit and feature a band we like.

i spend way too much time online any way, i'd love to contribute a bit.

i've never really had experience with blogging, or writing about bands, so i may not be the best contender, but at the same time i have no life so this would be something thats actually useful to keep me occupied. if you'd like me to contribute in any way then i'd be glad to.

I would be down to help out. I do a radio show and write for magazines sometimes.
