I generally have this notion that screamo was always one of those more "international" genres of music. You know, kind of like how Nazi Skinhead bands pop up or some white power crust bands. When I was getting into screamo, I heard people from Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, hell fucking Turkey doing that shit. They made comps, did splits et al. I dunno, I'm talking out of my ass here.

Actually that's one of the reasons I made this thread. Lots of bands have lyrics and focus their music on racism and how fucked up it is, meanwhile there's nothing but internet racists (especially in the screamies) ruining internet forums.

I remember him, I think his name is Onur, he wrote me a letter once with the Automatic Suicide Machine demo as well as Faced Moments EP.

I meant that somehow screamo has an affinity for trolls who use blatant racist remarks.

I don't think that's exclusive to screamo.
