I find them super boring and overly pretentious. not my thing at all. Manny, I'll check out Pacific UV.

I'm assuming they are aiming for ethereal, but it just ends up being too clean to me. I don't mind these three songs at all. I like the electronic elements, and I like the drums. the acoustic guitar is a bit pointlessly anonymous, and the vocal harmonies are so so. I also don't really like the voice of the main vocalist. I love the electric guitars though. both when they bubble in the background, and when they fight their way to the surface. they sound like triumph. really good.

but a surprisingly boring acoustic guitar and non-pleasant vocals ruin it a bit for me. also found it too clean and "pretty". they are severely lacking huge amounts of feedback and cracked emo vocals. :-D

yeah it's all fuzzed out and blurry. His other band Weed Diamond is similar in sound but play in a more poppy way.

you should check out vehicle blues http://www.myspace.com/vehicleblues

also bandcamp has a ton of great free shoegaze releases, this one of my favorites:
