apparently my immensely talented friend Thomas Bobovčáka apparently died last month, and I didn't even know. I feel sort of noxious right now, to be honest. his band spent like three years or whatever in isolation recording their album, and were now going to tour everywhere. and now he's just gone. the papers write that he fell or jumped down (no one knows) from his balcony on the fifth floor.

this really sucks. hard. because I've always been a huge fan of his band. so here's a link to the mentioned - highly unique - album:

Best Ones and My Town are my favourite songs from the new album, although it rules from start to finish. I haven't really realised that he's gone. rest in peace.

always sad when talented people pass away. this album is really good music. it reminds me of an energetic mix of tar feathers and xiu xiu.
