Some trad doom is cool - Witchfinder General especially. Only stoner I like off the top of my head is Electric Wizard. There's an unbelievable amount of filler like!

I like stoner, but I've never really dived into the genre properly. just listen to the odd band. but doom is really awesome. you should listen to Gallhammer. they're amazing.

does 'high on fire' fit into the stoner metal? i saw them live years ago, and almost fell asleep standing.

granted i wasn't stoned..

i like electric wizard and burning witch. could never get into sleep.

khanate are probably my favorite though, not sure if they fit into this category.

A lot of funeral doom is pretty awesome, although the exact opposite of screamo. Check out Worship and Warning if you want slow stuff to make you gloomy

I agree with Jake on this, I never got this stuff or why people are into it. If you like it though, hey, do your thing.

Doom metal is one of the dryest most bland and boring fucking styles of metal.. seriously makes me want to sleep.
