Yeah I know what you mean Pete but hey at least you're doing something productive.
I'm thinking of doing some TA in my university while in grad school though. How's that working for you?

It enjoy it more than the actual classes I have. I guess it all depends on the professor you're assigned to though. Mine isn't very demanding and is reasonable about how fast I can grade things or turn other work around.

I probably wouldn't have as much of a problem with my actual classes if they weren't just one big ol' crypto-indoctrination.

As a Creative Writing major, we have to complete 500 fucking short stories by the time I graduate. Just curious, older brothers and sisters, is that more fucked up than theses(which I will have to do as well)?

Well you are a Creative Writing major so you're expected to write more than you should. As for thesis, it really depends on your major. During my time in Ateneo, we were only allowed to do quantitative research so I had to use lots of statistical measures (t-test, ANOVA) for data analysis. Francis' batch has a much more wider scope, they can now do qualitative research for their undergrad thesis. Goddamn I hate my life. But I did a qualitative paper for my Social Justice (social psychology) class on self-image and prostitution though using the interpretative phenomenological analysis and content analysis. It was fun, late-night interview with women street hustlers. But I freaken lost my data and everything that comes with it when my mac decided to die. FFFUUU.

With that said, I think I'm going to take electives on women's studies when I get to grad school as well.
