Personally I like the band but not love them. Totally overrated imo but definitely noteworthy. I can see people hating the vocals. The lyrics aren't too annoying but they're also not mind blowing. And maybe it's just me but the band seems a bit pretentious. However, I've always loved them musically, especially Roots.

by no means are they one of the greatest screamo bands ever
but i will always have both releases in my itunes
they were a pretty talented screamo band
most elitist skramz kids dont like them
but it doesnt mean you dont have to like em, i personally would rather
just listen to something else but dont mind them, focus your hate on
post hardcore bands claiming screamo.

well, first of all, they are labeled as a screamo band. just because finedaytodie listens to them and worships them does not automatically make them screamo.
second, their music is annoying. on As the Roots Undo they spend to much time having stupid intros for every song.
third, the chick doesn't even wear bras!

i'm sure other people can come up with better reasons.

It's a gateway into a genre filled with pc punx that would rather stop listening to the genre than have more people discover it.

ban this guy
i have way too much screamo/skramz cred to be banned from cmhwak forums, sorry dude!
only thing screamo about you is that youre from the middle of nowhere in the midwest

they have terrible, badly modulated, scratchy, overdone vocals. their songs are repetitive, and always end lame.
literature as masturbatory paraphernalia.
