haha. seriously though who cares what the kid looks like. that has very little to do with how he thinks.

Funny thing is, that kid also likes Funeral Diner, Orchid, and City Of Caterpillar.

OH NO WE ALL JUST LOST OUR BALLS.
 yeah, I noticed that too, and I think Jeromes Dream came up on the similar artists thing, too. Apparently, judging people based on what they look like is bad.
Haha, yeah, that's what I was thinking too. He liked every single track on The Undark and Chaos Is Me, but only listened to them once. The upside: he's ventured into skramz. If anything, I'll give emo-overbro that.

Pretty hilarious thread, surprised how it ain't locked yet.

As for me, I gave CTTS many chances. Nope, didn't click.

that's it.

whenever some guy new to skramz wants to learn, i am not going to tell him that a band called "circle takes the square exists.

best thing to do when a kid like that is looking into "real skramz" just show him the most lo-fi obnoxious recorded band in the genre. it'll make em back off. it's like when metalcore kids want to hear some real hardcore, show em crossed out, they'll hate it with a passion, rip on the vocals etc etc. of course nu-jacks are all on CTTS dick, the production they got on ATRU is about as good as any scene-grind or metal band nowadays.
