i didn't look through to what people posted but recently deadman wonderland, higurashi no naku koro ni(kai, rei, and kira), and mirai nikkie have been great watches.

I've heard mixed things about deadman wonderland and higurashi, but I was watching mirai nikki while it was airing and it was a great ride. Plotholes out the wazoo, but it was one of those "so bad it's fucking awesome" kinda deals. Yuno <3

i have the biggest girl boner for Uryuu Minene. she is the best. higurashi is probably one of my favorite animes right now. the first season is broken up into four different scenraios and nothing makes sense till you watch the second season. all three animes are somewhat gorey and emotional. which is trending to be a new preference with me.

Anyone checked out 20th Century Boys? I hear great things, just haven't gotten over to the local comic shop to pick up any of the books.

yoman, citizenofulysses, care to hook me up with some futuristic cyberpunk animes? i´m acquainted with the most obvious ones gits, akira, appleseed, battle angel and such..THXXX. i would prefer the ones with realistic combat scenes and stuff, no excessive fanciness but i´m not sure if there are many realistic ones around.
