Re: GUILTY PLEASURE/S
I figure if I like something then I like it and there's no real guilt to that, but in the spirit of the thread...
I still enjoy a lot of random "post-hardcore" and "pop-punk," i.e.: Dance Gavin Dance, Motion CIty Soundtrack, Underoath, The Starting Line, etc, those just being some of my favorites.
Other than that, I still have a soft spot for all of the Japanese bands I used to listen to when I was younger, i.e.: Dir en grey, D'espairsRay, gazette, just to name some of the more popular.

They really are a fantastic band. Terribly underrated by a whole lot of people and typically thrown into a pile with all of the other generic bullshit put out by Rise Records, despite the fact that they're actually awesome.buckytoole wrote:DGD is the greatest. don't get the 'guilt'? dont give a fuck: Jon Mess makes the sickest lyrics/screams "this ain't no fucking day job" word.Sharkboyyy! wrote:I figure if I like something then I like it and there's no real guilt to that, but in the spirit of the thread...

What's wrong with Ween?
Re: GUILTY PLEASURE/S
The closest I come to guilty pleasures is sticking on Dude Ranch every once in a while and humming along. I don't know if that even counts though... nostalgia kills guilt.
there is no happy here

Re: GUILTY PLEASURE/S
most of my ("hip" or "punk" or collective townie) friends here HATE ween, with the exception of one or two of us...i don't know how the rest of hip world feels about them. the couple of times i've seen them the shows are littered with jam band fans or weirdos.Pete > You wrote:What's wrong with Ween?
