bear vs. shark also played that show, and they killed it. if i recall, the singer guy was talking mad shit on scene kids that came to see fear before. this was also one of their last shows, or maybe the last show...

the fall of troy played, too, but fortunately i showed up late and missed them.
Yeah man BVS never played a bad show! I wish they would do a reunion. Fear before can suck it. Art damage was okay. Very forgettable in my eyes though. I think that was the album that sucked all this scene kids in.

I like them, personally, The 'Always Open Mouth more so than the rest. To each his own, I guess.

Austria - Promoter started the show late and then cut the entire show short because of an enforced curfew. We were only able to play three songs. This was shitty because some kids traveled really far to see us.
We played regardless. What a weird night in general. Remember the prostitutes that kept walking towards our van as we were leaving? I felt like I was being chased by zombies.

external things that have made a bad show for me:
- people smoking inside
- promoter not collecting money at the door
- people having no coherence of their space and thus spilling beer on me
- the sound guy telling you to turn down

internal factors that have made a bad show for me:
- equipment not working
- bad members acting like it is a chore for them to play a show
- being sick on tour

that said..the worst shows i've ever played are usually after that point where the band should have broken up but i attempted to hold it together past the clear line of no return.

Was this somewhat recent? I've heard they just kinda get up on stage and jam and don't play any of the hits for something like two hours.

maybe like 2 years ago

all they do is jam and dont play shit.

I want my 30 bucks back. Im still pissed about it to this day. Fuck that band fo real
