I would mosh! Your vocals sound great! Maybe work on your recording skills a little bit though, no offense or anything. I understand that this is a demo song and what not. Keep us updated <3 Can't wait to hear more!!!crockett5o5o wrote:I was going to wait on this, but i figured why not.... So I finally put out my first "official" track. In this I play drums, guitar, and do vocals. My buddy fills in for bass. I want your guys honest opinion on this. Thanks.

Re: Your Band
Yo, thanks Nolan. I really appreciate the feedback a lot. My vocals hurt my ears when I do them, no joke. As far as the recording comment can you expand on that? My friend who fills in on bass recorded all of this. Btw your new material is rad. You stepped it up no doubt.Off Cloud Nine Label wrote:I would mosh! Your vocals sound great! Re: Your Band
Just close mic everything when you record, then from there you'll be able to mix in or out of the box and be able to hear your vocals and instruments consistently throughout your track. If you ever want any tips just message me and I'd be happy to throw some ideas your way! I'm glad you like my new stuff <3 I've been plugging away writing and recording. Hopefully I'll have some new tracks for you to listen to soon!crockett5o5o wrote:Yo, thanks Nolan. I really appreciate the feedback a lot. My vocals hurt my ears when I do them, no joke. Really good shit. I almost bailed at 30 seconds into the first song but then that second riff kicks in and it gets sweet.nayru wrote:nayru

Re: Your Band
Sadly it's not a reference. Our guitarist tends to copy random shit that he hears and I always find out through other people. This is very embarrassing to me. Thanks for pointing it out, though.Febcanl wrote:I like the reference in Heaven to Teeth On Asphalt by Dispensing of False Halosnayru wrote:nayru

Orion Pax I play bass and do about 2/3 of the vocals
Oh, and this thread has confirmed a long-held theory of mine: I need to start a band, like, right now. I desparately want musical co-conspirators to, er, jam with. There's only so much one person can do, even with a four-track casette recorder.
