Entering my 16th year. Count em SIX TEEN. That's over 5000 days of living, eating, breathing SKRAMLIFE!

.tk blogs and Language of Ghosts Board(Anyone remember LoG? or were a member?) got me into skramz.

I remember buying th Saetia LP for $60 in the early 2000's I flipped it for $200 a few years ago.
I got the super rare SoV IN LINE FOR HALOS Clear 7" in the handscreened silk pouch only 100 worldwide.
I also got the DEERS! discography tape only 50 worldwide.
I still hate CTTS.
&
I saw Ampere on their only Australian tour. TWICE!

And I helped revive the Australian emoviolence scene with my band Endut Hoch Hech!

Still bump SAETIA, PHASMA PHASMATIS, SOV, USURP SYNAPSE, NEIL PERRY on the regular.

The new kids killing it are; Blind Girls(Aussie), Gil Cerrone(Aussie), Salt Money(Aussie), WhenLoveDies(Aussie), Algor Mortis(Aussie), Moths, Mouthing, Sans Visage.
Fuckin Phasma still slays so hard, congrats on the fuckin rare SOV, I got rid of most of my record collection EXCEPT for my approx 400 screamo recs, I’ll never let those go.

Like 17y here checking in. According to last.fm, these days I listen to Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Elliott Smith, Nick Drake, Hüsker Dü, Cocteau Twins, The Blue Nile, and Carly Rae Jepsen. But sometimes skramz too. Like Haikus, SSRE, Jeromes Dream, Envy, & crust like Light Bearer, Downfall of Gaia, The Spectacle, & sass like The Blood Brothers, Fear Before the March of Flames... I pretty much don't listen to new skramz, but I like Senza, and a few others.

It's just great pop music. I like Charli XCX a lot too, and the whole bubblegum bass scene with SOPHIE, Kero Kero Bonito, and so on. But CRJ hits a special spot. She sounds like the way nostalgic people think the 80s sounded like, except even better.

That’s sick.
I walked into a barber shop in north park San Diego and the owner was Adam from Saetia, it threw me off lol been a long time since I’ve jammed that band but it was cool nonetheless. He had a copy of the Discography on the shelf which he ended up just giving to me.

As a dude that rocked a custom made saetia hat in 2004 we’re on like 18-19 years! Here’s to another 18!

Edit: just realized I’m old. 2001-2002 seeing bands like love lost but not forgotten, shenotesthechariots, and phasma phasmatis. So it’s more like 20-21 years 🫣
