I went to a pretty bad show last summer in a city called Trondheim in Norway. I don't even remember the band's name, they were some shitty local band playing rock.

the most disappointing show was by another Norwegian band called 22. one of the guys in that band was a member of my favourite band in the whole world, so I was very excited to see him. I had enjoyed some of 22's recorded songs, but when I saw them they were awful. especially their stage presence - sleazy guys with horrible gimmicks. that was the only show I've ever left before it was over.
I sort of have nothing to say and if I did, I'd say nothing at all.

And the bands that played before them were so fucking bad.
i know what you mean, i will never go see another post rock band play for 45 minutes again.

all in all, i've had some pretty bad shows. the worst one was this drunk guy trying to fight the drummer in my old band (narrators). i immediately stopped playing, and the dude got kicked out of the show after kicking up a fuss. actually.. that wasn't a bad show at all, just a fun one. umm, i have no idea. newfoundland sucks a lot and really shitty bands play shows together, do the math!

I saw Joan of Arc during SXSW in March. Tim led one of my friends to believe it may be a cap'n jazz reunion secret show thing. Nope, it ended up being horrific and they had no monitors. Plus it was freezing balls.

Oh and just last month when I visited the Philippines, for some sorta twisted kinda fate, my band played a show with some really over the top horrible local bands, most of which were (mis)using synths and employing the crab stance. They are so bad I couldn't stress it enough. My bandmates and I only listen to them whenever we want something to make fun of, it never gets old.

So we agreed to play to that show just for the heck of it. Wrong move. The only time I really had fun was during our set...We're the last one to play though. The agony of waiting for your turn and sitting through an entire spectacle of epic fail bands. . . :?

Worst skram I ever saw was Army of Kashyyyk. It sounded like a wall of noise.

haha i have a similar story. during SXSW one year i went to go see Pygmy Lush not really having listened to any of their music , just knowing that they had ex-members of Pg.99. Anyways long story short, I ended up falling asleep standing up and eventually just left the show. beautiful music don't get me wrong, but i was expecting a more high-energy show due to the band consisting of members of Pg.99.

I remember one time seeing All Leather at the che. They played for a minute and then they had electrical problems. Instead of trying to fix it they just said PEACE OUT.
