Just watched it.tOt was long full of hype for no reason and didn't excite me. Also it was full of BS and was ultra repetitive, false emotions flailing onto the screen. So ultimatley the home shopping network and post rock are nearly one in the same.

Post-rock can fit moods like none of my other music can, I absolutely love it sometimes yet I don't even listen to it that often. Bands of the genre I've been into though include: Oceans, The Six Parts Seven, Giants, Elder, Explosions in the Sky, Castevet, Pianos Become the Teeth, and Balmorhea. A lot of that stuff isn't straight up post-rock but whatever.

He also gives you a false sense of hope for it being over by repeatedly asking for "three minutes on the clock" then going way, way over three more minutes. Sort of like when you're listening to a post rock song and you think it is going to be over but it keeps going for like 17 more minutes.

There are some "post rock" bands I really enjoy, but I personally wouldn't really consider them post-rock. I'm fucking in love with By The End of Tonight, but I just say kinda noodly instrumental post-hardcore, not post-rock. some interesting "post-rock" bands are:

The Album Leaf
some Because of Ghosts
No One Wish To Settle Here
some Neil on Impression
You.May.Die.In.The.Desert.

Also post-rock screamo is pretty boring unless it's like Envy's Abyssal.

i joined a post-rock band. we improvised and recorded two 22 minute tracks, one of them i messed up drumming a little bit, and the second one is flawless imo. if anyone would like, i can post links once we upload it.

Definite Apreesh. I've wanted to start a post-rock band for a while now, but never found people interested.
