I greatly prefer Screamo that came in the later 90s, but of this category, I'm pretty much positive that you can't beat Native Nod and Still Life, particularly From Angry Heads With Skyward Eyes. At least if you can't, I haven't listened to it yet.

If anyone had any bands that sound like Evergreen/The Pine/The Hated that'd rule. I love that combo of poppy basslines, REM guitars, and bad vocals.

Policy of Three (specifically woodworking 7"), and Ordination of Aaron are easily at the same quality as Native Nod and Still Life.
