How about we just don't bother. It tends to come up in threads either: a) after shit has been hashed out to the point where a new topic is sort of needed b) some idiot turns up to chat about it. Lets be honest, a fucking CMHWAK thread about bm will only ever skim the surface of the hipster (wittr, krallice, cascadian etc) and of the more namedroppable and 'cool' of pantomime bands (norweigan pros, lln etc.). Seriously, this thread is pointless. A bunch of folk chatting about shit they don't know. What's the point?

bullshit, I think all those 'hipster' bands are just as enjoyable as Mayhem, Darkthrone, Ulver, Satyricon + other TRVE BM

now. what the fuck does hipster bands entail when it comes to black metal? I am just a little curious. also, Satyricon sucks, and in no way would they be considered "trve" by anyone. at least I hope not, lol. they are on par with Dimmu Borgir. for some cool - and "kvlt", I suppose - Norwegian black metal, listen to Faustcoven.

Too be honest, I never really got this whole "hipster black metal" thing. I haven't been listening to BM for a while, so pardon my ignorance. I assume these bands are the type along the lines of Bloody Panda, Alcest, Meza Virs? Or not?
