Re: Recently Bought:
I purchased one VINYL record the other day, it was the Anomie / Peace of Mind 12" split.
I also got to listen to the new Hatred Surge/Iron Lung/Mind Eraser/Scapegoat 4 way split . It comes out in a few months, it will probably be the best split record of 2011. The Iron Lung stuff is some of the best stuff they have done thus far.

It would be like calling CDs "plastics". It's a total sign of newjackery.
Re: Recently Bought:
That's a rather shitty argument to be honest. You'd sound like a dickhead calling it a "Gramophone record" wouldn't you? And what else to call them? No one uses "plastics" for CD's because there is a better word for themPete > You wrote:You're also a functioning retard and English isn't your first language.alexander wrote:uhhhh well that's pretty dumb

Re: Recently Bought:
that's pretty harsh dude especially since the words records and vinyl are synonymous when speaking of mediums for music.Pete > You wrote:You're also a functioning retard and English isn't your first language.alexander wrote:uhhhh well that's pretty dumb

Here are some websites that refer to records as vinyl:
Viva La Vinyl board.vivalavinyl.com
Vinyl Junkie Distro. vinyljunkiedistro.com
Vinyl net. vinylnet.co.uk

Oh, I'm sorry. I really should ease up on the guy who has in the entire few months this board has been up, been nothing but unnecessarily mean himself.Heide wrote:That's a rather shitty argument to be honest. They're records. They're called records. English isn't your first language either, it seems, so you didn't understand that sentence about CDs. Don't get your balls in an uproar.

Ah, god forbid someone displays signs of newjackery. But I guess I see where you're coming from.Pete > You wrote:It's a total sign of newjackery.alexander wrote:uhhhh well that's pretty dumb

For the record (pun intended) I used the word 'vinyl' just to distinguish between the mediums of records and CDs which I had mentioned in my initial post. Usually I use the word LP or 12"/10"/7" when in reference to vinyl records.
