I (try) to be pretty active in DIY/screamo community and spreading its great gospel to my hometown of Champaign, ILSo yeah, I'm a 21 year old student in Geography at the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana and I'm from a nearby farming town. Been into punk/hardcore since I was about 13 and into screamo since I was about 17. Favorite bands include The Blood Brothers, Botch, Minutemen, Mr. Bungle, and My Bloody Valentine. The Diamond Stretch - I have been doing vocals for this band since summer of 2007. We started as a Daughters-esque type band and then over the years and bassists, we got a away from that using more of a 90' screamo and mathcore influence. We get Cave In and pg.99 comparisons, so that is neat I guess. We have done 3 midwest tours, one most recently with Kansas City's Texas Instruments.
