Pete > You wrote: This is a pretty easy and laid back forum. Just chill. I find you lame. Not the end of the world. I hope you can all just deal with this and move on.
Pete > You wrote: Special baby thinks that by being on the internet, he is protected from criticism. HOW DARE I?! Clearly I'm not under that impression, but I hope the hilarity of your hypocrisy in immediately following that statement with your own "what's best for the 'community' (LOL!)" diktat.
I don't know if this quite counts as hypocrisy, but I definitely find hilarity of your criticism being more appropriate if it were aimed at you.

If you think I'm lame, then thats fine. Definitely not the end of the world. But you gotta be pretty fucked in the head if you have been "doing this for years" and thinking no one wants to hear what an individual is about and how they can be helpful. my world consists of DIY, punk, and unconditionally helping those who live it. And you not supporting the latter brings the end a little bit closer.

That's pretty much par for the course. Nothing to brag about. Or make stupid threads about. Let's see, 22 now means he would have been about 12-14 when the bands he reads about on the internet were active. Must have been one cool kid back in the day.
What the fuck is this. I like bands like Minor Threat who broke up before I was born. Am I not allowed to read about them on the Internet to still be into DIY hardcore. Do I have to attend shows and be into bands when they are around in order to have any say in what I think about them? Who cares if he was 12 when Orchid was around I was 7 when Heroin was a band and I still enjoy their music and feel entitled to my oppinion about them.

You came at Greg for absolutely no reason (I guess except the fact you felt it unnecessary he mention he HAS A SHOW SPACE FOR TOURING BANDS WHO NEED HELP) and then fed off their inability to defend their scremz_cred. Sorry we all weren't born earlier so we can TRUELY enjoy this music.
Okay, here it goes; you can say whatever the hell you want, but I can also find what you say disagreeable and say so. Get it?

It does.

Please explain.

This is going to make excellent joke copypasta on the more elite boards.

Feel free. My aim was never to get you to stop posting. I don't run this board nor do I think my opinion holds anymore water than that of others'. I think this is sort of the crux of the matter. By merely expressing my opinion that means I'm in charge? That's silly.

dude we have braid and american football too!

Matt Talbot does relatively cheap all analogue recording a couple miles away from Champaign too
it's been an (unreachable) musical goal of mine to record at great western. mainly just for the opportunity to meet one of my musical idols.
