i like parts of this website but not others. i have one that i don't really use a whole lot because i post stuff for myself--stuff that i find thought-provoking--but i hate the whole "reposting" thing and when someone i didn't know started following me i pretty much stopped using it, even though i guess that's the whole point of the site.

also there is a lot of mediocre bullshit.

Well, what do you like? High tops, lows? Sneakers? Smart shoes? Any brands you like?
Colour-wise, you definitely want to go for black or white to start with - they go with everything. I used to buy bare bright shoes (red n shit) and would have trouble wearing them with certain outfits. Also, there's nothing worse than suburban whiteboys kicking about in tight jeans and ridic. over the top kicks, avoid that shit like the plague mate.

I like low tops and the style of a bunch of brands for skating. (emerica, circa, nike, maybe even a few pairs of osiris?)
I definitely am not for anything flashy, last pairs I've had were brown and a dark olive green. I'd like to avoid white cause this will be my next pair of main shoes and I don't want them to get dirty so fast and have to clean them and shit all the time.
