LOL, you have some serious issues, chill.Pete > You wrote:...the fuck?xmoonxhowlerx wrote:Dead crowd is dead.
This is how crowds always were. You didn't have to ape it up like you do now to show off to all the other meta nerds about how more of a meta nerd you are now because in 1998 hardcore wasn't as post-self-aware as it is now. You were just seeing a band, you weren't seeing "ZOMG! TOP SKRAMZ UBAR TEARS!".
Anyway, about the video, I love seeing how young everyone looks and seeing if I can spot other "famous" people in crowds. The best thing about videos like this is seeing how normal everyone looked. I'm really fucking sick and tired of shows looking like a neon paint factory exploded over a Motley Crue lookalike concert.
he made it sound lame but kid has a point... this was before fucking mathy kinsella cancer had the queerzine crowd dancingxmoonxhowlerx wrote:LOL, you have some serious issues, chill.Pete > You wrote:...the fuck?xmoonxhowlerx wrote:Dead crowd is dead.

Granted, hardcore is pretty nerdy, but how is retelling my lived experience, which would be the same lived experience of pretty much everyone in the video, nerdy?clayt0n wrote:you sound like a fucking nerd
Don't take my example so literally. Take it like any fashion trend that has cropped up since, oh, 2003 or so. See below.takingcareoftraffic wrote: sounds like you go to some shit shows.
Thank you,ifp wrote:pete has a point....1998 was before the shitty screamo fashion explosion. attention starved drunkenness was also not an issue at fests back then. all in all it was a pretty good time.
and thank you. Especially about that cutoffs and patches example. Could be replaced with any trend as alluded to earlier (i.e. dyed black hair and tight clothes; beards and plaid shirts; cowboy shirts and messenger bags; pea coats and thick frames; trucker hats and man-capris; you get the idea).ryanatwood wrote:he made it sound lame but kid has a point... this was before fucking mathy kinsella cancer had the queerzine crowd dancing
note also: a crowd of normal guys, not kids in denim cutoffs and tragedy patches. Think about it.
I never thought I'd see I Hate Myself and Saetia next to Attack Attack and Blood on the Dance Floor in someone's list of preferred music. I am so confused.CitizenOfUlysses wrote:the new face of skramotakingcareoftraffic wrote:ifp wrote: fashion explosion..
