And how are Ampere better than Orchid? I've never seen Orchid live, but I've seen enough to know it's not even close. Orchid deserves all the insane amounts of apreesh and overpriced ripoff shirts on ebay they get.

we already went over this the guitar parts are more mature in Ampere, it adds to the listening experience if your looking for a more interesting and progressive sound. I could say the same with early Ampere compared to later Ampere or Laceration copared to Orchid. Also the Orchid gatefold album has weak vocals on it.
Seeing as I haven't been able to see Orchid or Ampere live so my opinion is based on recordings only. If anyone can describe from an objective stand point why Orchid is better Ill listen but "Ampere sucks because I hate Ampere" isn't objective in the least. Let's discuss

I'm not looking for a more mature or progressive sound. I'm looking for noisy screamy music that sounds good to me. Music is subjective. I guess I've gotten into the habit of reading anything opinionated with assumed "TO ME"s in there. I'm sure someone is up for an educated debate as for why Orchid's music is superior... but why would you care if you like Ampere better?

Also I've always felt Ampere was more noisy than orchid, as for screamy every Ampere release is screamy whereas Orchid's gatefold release is more sassy than screamy.

I do. It's also a question of content. I lyrically find Ampere to have the sophistication of a man-baby Brooklyn-transplant hipster douche lecturing me about things he thinks he knows about. Which is incidentally the entire esthetic of the band.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I don't think lyrically Orchid was so great, but at least there there was a wink and a nod.

Not nearly as good as the band members of all the bands he listed. I must have forgotten that he was in those bands, because obviously I must be sucking his dick for apreeshing the bands he chose instead of whining that he didn't choose all of own personal favorites.

I think it should read "TEEFS" and not "TEETHS".

Oddly, that's how I read that. Along with "da" in place of "the" accordingly.

I don't hate Ampere, I just find Orchid to be more pleasing and less disappointing. Everything after All Our Tomorrows, ect wasn't as good. Their lack of recent material is disappointing, as well.

I got tired of waiting for Like Shadows, so I moved back to California for Life/Less' release. I'm a screamo migrant.
