Mine would be Portraits of Past sounding/becoming nauseatingly over the top dramatic like La Dispute (sorry, couldn't stand them). Though this is kind of far-fetched.

I'd have to disagree tho, Hot Cross, even latter-day Hot Cross still sound tight as fuck.

That really isn't so far-fetched. Their recent EP shows a few signs, slight signs of heading towards that direction.


My pet-peeve is any of my favorite bands going down the direction that Envy did from Insomniac Doze onwards.
