different strokes for different folks I guess. I'm pretty into it.Any time I can pick up some legit emo while shopping with my 19 year old friend with me who thinks 90s emo equates to The Promise Ring and I get to school him on the real shit is a good day for me.

Oh, I own a copy of it too and I don't foresee ever getting rid of it. I haven't listened to it for years, probably six or seven, and I just can't imagine taking it seriously. Or even comically like I can take something like the Toru Okada LP. It's just straight embarrassing. It's the kind of record you can't play if anyone else is within earshot.

It's almost the same way I feel about The Weakerthans. They're so over the top I can't imagine two gay guys having sex or even making out to it. I can only imagine two gay guys listening to them while snuggling under a comforter on a couch on a Sunday afternoon while sipping hot chocolate.
