best thing to do when a kid like that is looking into "real skramz" just show him the most lo-fi obnoxious recorded band in the genre. it'll make em back off. it's like when metalcore kids want to hear some real hardcore, show em crossed out, they'll hate it with a passion, rip on the vocals etc etc. of course nu-jacks are all on CTTS dick, the production they got on ATRU is about as good as any scene-grind or metal band nowadays.

I am so fucking guilty of both of these. I usually put Gravity/31G shit on or if I'm feeling like a dick, probably some GASR stuff.

hahahahaha i used to do this kind of shit all the time with metalcore scene kids at my school. id be listening to my ipod and they would come up and ask what i listen to and then id let them listen and id throw on some dystopia or infest and they are immediately turned off.
