All I know is that when I visited New Jersey there were a lot of shows going on all over the place, my friends were throwing stuff in there basements and New York was just an hour away. I also saw a flier for some Skram fest in Pittsburgh, so that's gotta mean something.

I was always under the impression that pittsburgh had a bunch of tough guy hc that was all ignorant mosh kinda shit (not that I mind). Will look into this.

I'm not sure if it was some fluke or something but it's worth looking into for sure

i always thought hardstyle referred to some sort of techno/ dance music, or something like that. a few weeks ago i was talking to some moshbro at a party and he was talking about how hardstyle the new foundation album was, which really confused me, glad to know that people are starting to call wiggermosh hardstyle. makes that guy look less stupid i guess
