I just wanted to point out that you listed the comps/discographies these appeared on, but for some bands you listed the original release even though their stuff later appeared on a comp. I thought it was sort of weird. I don't know why.

I haven't gotten into some of the bands you guys have, and I like bands you don't. Sorry.

When I'm done paying off my college loans I'll buy the records at your estate sale, Pete. Until then, I'll live in the "mp3 era."

That's how they appeared on my computer based on what I've downloaded from that artist.

It was really more a criticism of the nature of a list of songs from a genre so heavily oriented around a release, be it a full length or simply a split 7". Less than ten years ago, the idea of listening to a "screamo song", literally a singular song, was patently eccentric. I mean, how could you, practically, given the limitations of the formats?

In short, I do not care if you do or don't own the records, it doesn't place me above you on some hardcore totem pole because I do, but thank you for posting this glorified last.fm list.

Thanks for the advice. I'll start listening to music the right way from now on.

Of course I get it. I've been on this board long enough to understand these things. I just don't think I did anything wrong so it doesn't really bother me as it does you.
