Choice quote came from the number 1,
It could possibly rival anything Envy or even PBTT has ever released.
I haven't heard the band, so I don't know if they are good or not, but that sentence seems to read that Pianos is better than Envy. What is this guy, drunk?

I understand there is a hierarchy of bands, especially within this community, but to be honest, I'll admit I listen to Pianos WAY more than i listen to Envy. I know its uncool, especially since any band getting recognition these days is a target for the elitists, but I find Pianos music to be more relevant to where things are headed and the kind of music I play.
While Im being honest, I haven't listened to City of Caterpillar, Life is a Fight, or Orchid in years. I'm burnt out on them, and feel that my ears have matured to an extent. I will always love those classic albums and admire the pioneers of this scene, but I'm not going to pretend that everything coming out with decent production quality is shitty because it doesnt sound enough like something from Level Plane or whatever.
Just a confession.
Feel free to call me a turncoat.

Honestly, I liked the Bonney album more than the Raein album, but I might be biased because we did a few weekend warriors with them this year and I got to hear/see those songs every night. It was great.

But, the top few albums on that list were awful. The PBTT album was good, but nowhere near top 3 material. I don't even know who the band that got #1 was. I'm not interested, either.

This would be reserved for someone of importance. As best I can tell you seem to just be just some clueless newjack, so you'd actually be beneath this insult.

Apologies if I am mistaken.

Jk, but William Bonney seems so watered down and that Raein album is so interesting and different.

New to the site. Far from new to the music.
In fact, I'm fairly certain I've done more musically for this scene then most members here, unless Billy Werner is lurking around.
It's just my opinion that EVERY band should be given an unbiased listen before they are blasted on the internet.

You are new, yet feel comfortable enough declaring that you have "done more musically" for this "scene" than "most" members here. What would those things be?

Can you substantiate that opinion of yours?

I played bass for a band called I Create, and played shows with bands that are frequently discussed on this forum. I'm lucky to have been a part of this music scene, and all I was trying to say is that everyone deserves a fair chance to have their art heard, whether they are skramz vets or newer bands.

not trying to start a forum argument.
