I really enjoy this record, but I want to wait until I get it to sit with it and pore through the lyrics while it's on. Based on my one listen through, however, I think it's lined up to be one of my favourite releases this year.

I can agree with this, I need more listens while I am not sitting in front of a computer to really decide how I feel about it.

Beau and Loma are two of my current/all time favorite bands. I respect all their work but go in orderlike this- Life Moves >Lumens> Hours. Don't get me wrong i love every album along with I.V. i just really like listening to the development/change in their sound. I am sad that i will miss them on their east coast tour /:

Hopefully Beau one day returns to the major-tonality/quirky style of the suffix/4-band/adobe homes splits.
Until then Lumens is fucking amazing and I don't feel at all bad about the change in style if this is what it produces.
be excellent to one another

I got to see them play on Saturday and they were quite good. Very nice people too. I hope this tour works out well for them.

I saw them Saturday also and they were great. No Diary of the Sun or Ceilings Reveling Cities though.
