Currently I'm playing bass in standard.
The two I messed with though for my past bands on guitar were:
A E A D F# B
or
A E A D F B
These were both for heavier bands. Tuning down that low is tough though in terms of mechanics. I'd had to seek out these 68 - 14 gauge strings and get my guitar set up often. I was using a baritone guitar (longer neck) for a little to do this too but found it hard to get some of the faster fretwork done with.

I played in open E for a while because of Ampere

Re: Guitar Tunings
When does Ampere not play in Standard?
Re: Guitar Tunings
Always? Open E is a slide tuning. Sounds like standard but you can pull off some whackier stuff.lemyisgod wrote:When does Ampere not play in Standard?
