Re: Hip Hop Appreesh
I love hip-hop, so I thought I would add to this thread.
Some of the greats in no particular order:
-Aesop Rock, dude's style and beats are sick.
-Eyedea and Abilities, got to see and talk to these guys pretty much right before Eyedea's death. R.I.P. he will be missed forever.
-A Tribe Called Quest, obviously.
-Public Enemy, obvi.
-RUN-D.M.C., obvi.
-Dilated Peoples, NY hip-hop graff writers feel.
-Grand Puba, he's more rap but still a hip-hop feel to him.
-Brand Nubian, same story as Puba.
-C////O, not one of the greats but has potential.
-Sage Francis, dance you monkey!
-Prefuse 73, electronic style hip-hop beats. Has collaborated with Aesop, MF Doom, etc.
There are plenty more, but these are the ones that come to mind.

Obviously gotta show the love for POS
Besides him, my faves are Dalek, Aesop Rock, Reef the Lost Cauze, Binary Star, D-Sisive, Jon Hope, and Dr. Octagon. MF Doom and Wu Tang are classic.
