Father Figure is from Denton TX it's like 4 hrs away from Austin. I think their drummer recently moved to Austin. Gaff is a new band from Austin though check them out. this is awesome. also the line about someone killing them is dramatic but in a good way for me. The first song sounds like I Hate Myself's 2songs. The lyrics about wanting to die or commit suicide don't bother me because I can relate sometimes.

If you can "relate" to wanting to commit suicide or wanting to die, then you should probably get some help my friend. I'm being 100% serious. Seek out some friends or your family. Suicide and depression are not a joke and some shitty screamo band shouldn't be singing about this. Even if it is some kind of sick way to help them cope with their daily lives. When I see bands singing about pulling the plug it really upsets me. I've lost and have almost lost people from them committing suicide or attempting to. It's one of the hardest things to live with. It's fucking paralyzing. Nobody should wish themselves dead.
