considering post-rock evidently consists of anything between Slint, Moss Icon, Sigur Rós, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, 65daysofstatic, Jeniferever, SleepMakesWaves, Mogwai, M83, Jesu and you know... every band ever...

appresh *and* disappreesh.

even though I think this is a lame/confusing term that doesn't make any sense I love pretty much every band that is considered to be post-rock.
I sort of have nothing to say and if I did, I'd say nothing at all.

idk if you've heard/paid attention to the whole post rock thing, but Slint and Moss Icon are commonly referred to as the bands who started it, especially Slint. some claim Spiderland to be the catalyst of the genre, some consider it to be the first album in the genre... etc.

my point is that apparently every band ever is post-rock, and it's a stupid "genre". according to wikipedia, post-rock is "rock instrumentation used for something else than rock music" - which makes it deliciously ironic that the the tag is mostly just used for instrumental math rock bands like Explosions in the Sky or Yndi Halda.
