Re: envy at che cafe 2006
i was at this show actually...
There were a bunch of random non hardcore bands playing and when me and my friends got there it was SOLD OUT. I couldn't believe it and starting freaking out. I convinced some girl outside to let me have her wristband when Envy was going, i said I drove all the way from arizona for the show haha. MY friends ended up sneaking in the back door.
It was a great set, I remember a bunch of emo nerds singing along like they knew the lyrics (lol). But it was a classic skramz set. My friend at the time who came (who was in fight fair at the time, no longer friends w him) left the show talking about how real screamo is the only music that really matters....lol cuz he was just some scene kid into norma jean and underoath, never actually got into real diy....but I guess the set was so powerful it even still moved him.
I still wear the Envy shirt i got at that show
