Native sucked ass when I saw them, but they're good dudes.

yeah i feel like all the dudes in native are just jaded now. they blew up really fast and toured a shit load at a really early stage of their band's existence, and consequentially, have seemed to lose enthusiasm.

solid EP though..

Not so much as far as putting on a show, but just their sound. The wall of amps they used blasted out any note they played, so any differentiation between songs was nonexistent. Dan didn't seem too into it, and Bobby and Nick had times where they'd get pumped. Ed always goes hard; love that dude.

So the merch guy for Native jumped on some dudes back during the Former Thieves set and fucked up his ankle so the guy (who got his ankle hurt) starts yelling at the merch guy and ruins Former Thieves set... After awhile they go outside and basically the whole band tried to apologize to the guy but he kept being like "I'VE BEEN GOING TO SHOWS SINCE I WAS 14, IM NOT A VIOLENT GUY AND THAT WAS FUCKED UP AND I DONT HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE" He said those same things about 10 times until they just gave up trying to apologize to him.
I mean I get that it hurt, but it's a fucking show. Shit happens man, don't be a pussy.

Native was absolutely rad tonight in ATX. I can't wait for the Ft. Worth show tomorrow, really solid dudes, awesome show!
