YO this is bothering me

converge is an amazing band who puts on one of the best live shows in music, period. i don't get how anyone can't like these guys. jake bannon's artwork is pretty rad, too...i own the unicorn shirt, and i don't know if it's his design, but i get compliments on it every time i wear it.

i don't really see how a communal board like this can rip on his writing, though. they are nowhere near the caliber of pig destroyer or i hate myself on that end, but they are certainly better than 90% of hardcore and most skram lyrics. IMO.

Converge are supposedly shit live when they play arenas/big stages. I don't find that hard to believe, because I find pretty much any band shit on big stages...

anyway I like Halo in a Haystack. I prefer Dillinger Escape Plan though.

i've never seen them on a "big" stage but anytime they are in georgia, chaos ensues. maybe it's different in other cities...i guess we are more crunk than everyone.

For the longest time I really liked all DEP releases. I've grown older and realized that after the EP with Mike Patton, it's nowhere near as interesting. It was cute for awhile, but can't really be bothered with the last few albums...
