Turn Around Norman is really good. I only have that one 7" of theirs, but I have the studio version of "Dying In Black and White" which is much more amazing than the poor 7" rip. Lemme get that up right quick.

I don't know about this "Skram" business, but here are some good hardcore bands with females on the mic.

The Fisticuffs Bluff

http://www.mediafire.com/?n21wnknizy1

Santa Cruz, California. Early-mid 90s. Shared a 7" w/ Angel Hair, LP / Discography on Troubleman.

Makara *

One of the best hardcore bands I've ever seen, bar none.

* Kerry Jo, who sang for Makara had a band in the early oughties called Welcome the Plague Year. This may be more up your alley, although I do not have a link to any of their recordings.

The Assistant

We'll Make the Roads By Walking

Fields Lay Fallow

Someone mentioned this band already. Good stuff.
